Qookin

Privacy notice

Draft for owner and legal review before public launch. Last updated 18 October 2026.

What we collect

When you join the early-access list we store your email address, the role you choose (optional), the time you agreed to receive email, and a one-way salted hash of your IP address. We use the hash only to limit repeated sign-ups from one network; we never store your IP address itself.

What we do not collect

This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics or advertising scripts, embeds no third-party fonts, and makes no requests to other companies from your browser.

How we use it

We email you about Qookin: early access, the macOS download when it is available, and launch pricing. We do not sell or share your details. Every email includes a way to unsubscribe.

Where it is stored

Sign-ups are stored with our hosting provider (Cloudflare) in a key-value store used only for this list.

How long we keep it

Until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, or until the early-access programme ends, whichever comes first.

Your choices

To see, correct or delete your details, email [email protected]. We reply within 30 days.

The Qookin app

The Qookin app is designed so your briefs, references and generated images stay on your Mac and your own inference machine. It sends no project content to us. If you choose to add your own Anthropic or OpenAI key, the text of your requests (never images or files) is sent to that provider under your account and its terms; this is off by default and visible in the app. Your creative applications keep their own connections to their vendors, which this notice does not cover.
